Heather Joy creates art to shine light on environmental and social justice issues, while there’s still time. She invites you to join her on this journey.

All photos on this site by Heather Joy unless otherwise noted.

Heather received many honors and awards while in high school from 1989-1991 for her art and activism but her true art career launched in 2003 after training in the nationally recognized Commercial Photography Program at Seattle Central College. Since then she has mounted multiple exhibitions in the Puget Sound Region, received several awards including an Earthwatch Community Artist Fellowship, and currently maintains a studio practice in Kitsap County, WA.

But it’s not about awards, it’s about raising awareness in pursuit of justice for the earth and the people of this planet, while there’s still time.
